Baccarat Chemin de Fer Regulations and Strategy

Baccarat Banque Standards

Baccarat banque is gambled on with 8 decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under ten are valued at their printed value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the beginning digit is ignored. e.g., a hand of five and six has a total of 1 (five plus six = eleven; drop the first ‘1′).

A 3rd card might be given out depending on the rules below:

- If the player or house has a score of eight or nine, the two players stay.

- If the gambler has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the player stays, the bank hits on a total less than 5. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to figure out if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The larger of the 2 hands wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (even payout less a 5 percent commission. Commission are tracked and paid off once you depart the table so make sure you have cash around just before you leave). Winning wagers on the player pays 1:1. Winning bets for a tie frequently pays eight to one but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties happen lower than one in every ten rounds. Be cautious of wagering on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)

Played properly baccarat gives pretty decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Scheme

As with all games baccarat banque has a few accepted false impressions. One of which is similar to a misconception in roulette. The past is not an indicator of events about to happen. Recording previous outcomes on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.

The most familiar and possibly the most acknowledged scheme is the 1-3-2-6 method. This method is used to pump up profits and minimizing risk.

Start by betting 1 unit. If you succeed, add one more to the two on the game table for a grand total of three chips on the second bet. If you win you will retain six on the table, take away four so you are left with two on the 3rd round. If you come away with a win on the 3rd bet, put down 2 on the four on the game table for a grand total of six on the 4th round.

Should you lose on the 1st bet, you take a hit of one. A profit on the 1st round followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Success on the 1st 2 with a hit on the third provides you with a take of 2. And wins on the 1st 3 with a defeat on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning all four rounds gives you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you are able to not win on the second bet five times for each successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
