Punto Banco Regulations and Plan

Baccarat Principles

Baccarat banque is played with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is one. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, however the first digit is dropped. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a score of one (5 plus 6 equals eleven; ditch the 1st ‘one’).

A third card might be dealt depending on the following rules:

- If the player or banker achieves a value of 8 or nine, the two players stay.

- If the player has five or lower, he takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the gambler stands, the banker takes a card on 5 or less. If the player hits, a guide is used to figure out if the banker stands or takes a card.

Punto Banco Odds

The larger of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (equal money less a 5 percent commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you depart the table so make sure you still have cash left over just before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning bets for tie usually pays out at 8 to 1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every ten hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for nine to one vs. eight to one)

Gambled on properly baccarat offers generally decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Course of Action

As with all games Baccarat has a handful of accepted myths. One of which is the same as a absurdity in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of events yet to happen. Keeping track of past outcomes at a table is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary desires.

The most familiar and almost certainly the most successful course of action is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This tactic is employed to pump up earnings and limit risk.

Begin by wagering 1 chip. If you win, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of three units on the second bet. If you succeed you will have six on the table, take away four so you have two on the third round. If you come away with a win on the 3rd bet, put down two on the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the initial wager, you take a hit of 1. A win on the 1st wager followed by a hit on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the initial 2 with a defeat on the 3rd provides you with a take of 2. And wins on the initial three with a loss on the fourth means you break even. Winning all four rounds leaves you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you can give up the 2nd bet five times for each favorable streak of 4 rounds and in the end, break even.
