Baccarat Regulations and Method

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Standards

Punto banco is wagered on with eight decks in a shoe. Cards below ten are counted at their printed number while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the two cards, although the first number is discarded. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a total of one (5 plus six = eleven; ignore the first ‘one’).

A 3rd card will be given using the rules below:

- If the player or bank gets a total of eight or 9, both players stand.

- If the player has less than five, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the gambler holds, the house takes a card on a value lower than 5. If the player hits, a chart is used to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout 19:20 (even money minus a 5 percent rake. The Rake is tracked and cleared out once you leave the table so ensure you have funds remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie frequently pays out at 8:1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a awful wager as a tie occurs lower than one in every ten hands. Be wary of betting on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)

Wagered on correctly baccarat chemin de fer offers pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Banque Scheme

As with all games punto banco has a handful of common misconceptions. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of events about to happen. Recording previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most accepted and probably the most favorable scheme is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This tactic is deployed to build up earnings and minimizing losses.

Start by wagering 1 chip. If you succeed, add 1 more to the two on the table for a grand total of 3 chips on the second bet. If you win you will retain 6 on the game table, remove four so you are left with two on the third bet. Should you win the third bet, deposit 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth round.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you take a hit of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Success on the 1st two with a loss on the third provides you with a take of two. And wins on the 1st 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you are even. Succeeding at all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you will be able to squander the second wager five times for each favorable streak of 4 wagers and in the end, break even.
