Baccarat Chemin de Fer Policies and Plan

Punto Banco Principles

Baccarat chemin de fer is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are counted at their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the total of the 2 cards, but the beginning digit is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a value of 1 (5 plus six equals eleven; ditch the 1st ‘one’).

A third card can be given out using the rules below:

- If the player or banker gets a total of eight or nine, both players stand.

- If the player has less than five, he hits. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler holds, the banker takes a card on 5 or less. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to see if the bank stays or hits.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The greater of the 2 totals wins. Winning wagers on the house pay out 19 to 20 (even money minus a five percent rake. Commission are recorded and cleared out when you depart the table so make sure you still have funds left over just before you leave). Winning bets on the gambler pay one to one. Winning bets for a tie typically pays out at eight to one but on occasion 9:1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 hands. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for nine to one vs. 8 to 1)

Bet on correctly baccarat banque gives pretty decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Strategy

As with all games baccarat banque has some established misconceptions. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of future outcomes. Keeping track of past results at a table is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper desires.

The most established and possibly the most successful plan is the one-three-two-six technique. This plan is employed to build up winnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by betting 1 unit. If you succeed, add another to the two on the table for a sum of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will now have six on the table, pull off four so you are left with two on the third round. Should you succeed on the 3rd wager, put down 2 on the 4 on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you don’t win on the first round, you take a hit of one. A win on the 1st wager followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of two. Wins on the first 2 with a defeat on the 3rd provides you with a gain of 2. And success on the 1st 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all 4 bets leaves you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you will be able to lose the second round five times for every favorable run of four bets and still are even.
