Rules of Baccarat

Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are of a value less than 10 are valued at their printed number whereas ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they only symbolize the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards will now be played to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for each hand shall be the sum total of the two cards, but the very first digit is removed. For e.g., a hand of seven … 5 produces a total of 2 (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be dealt depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a total score of eight or nine, then both players stand.

- If the player has 5 or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the gambler hits, a chart will be used to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores will be the winner. Successful stakes on the banker pay 19 to twenty (even odds less a 5 percent commission. Commission is monitored and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have $$$$$ still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie usually pays out at eight to 1 and on occasion 9 to one. (This is a terrible gamble as ties happen less than 1 every ten hands. be wary of putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)

When done smartly, baccarat provides fairly good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with most games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. 1 of which is very similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an indicator of future results. Tracking of previous conclusions on a chart is simply a complete waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and possibly most successful technique is the one-3-two-6 concept. This schema is deployed to amplify earnings and limiting risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove four so you have two on the 3rd gamble. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a value of six on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the initial wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
