Baccarat Rules

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards which are of a value less than 10 are valued at their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they purely represent the two hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards will then be played to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for any hand will be the sum of the two cards, but the very first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as five gives a tally of two (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card could be dealt depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the player or banker has a value of eight or nine, both players stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the gambler hits, a chart will be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores will be the winner. Victorious stakes on the banker payout nineteen to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so ensure that you have funds remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie usually pays out at eight to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is not a good wager as ties will occur less than one every ten hands. be wary of placing bets on a tie. Still, odds are considerably better – nine to one versus eight to one)

When played effectively, baccarat provides relatively good odds, apart from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with many games, Baccarat has some well-known myths. 1 of which is quite similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an indicator of future happenings. Keeping track of old outcomes on a chart is simply a complete waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most established and almost certainly most successful technique is the one-three-2-6 concept. This process is employed to boost profits and limiting risk.

commence by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the third gamble. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th gamble.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. In other words that you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
