Baccarat Rules

Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards under ten are said to be at face value while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they simply act as the two hands to be dealt).

2 hands of 2 cards will then be given out to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for any hand is the sum of the two cards, but the very first digit is discarded. For e.g., a hand of 7 as well as five produces a value of 2 (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A third card can be given out depending on the following codes:

- If the gambler or banker has a tally of eight or 9, each gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the player hits, a chart is used to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores will be the winner. Winning wagers on the banker payout nineteen to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is tracked and paid out when you leave the table so ensure you have dollars remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie as a rule pay out 8 to 1 but occasionally nine to 1. (This is a crazy wager as ties happen less than 1 every 10 hands. Stay away from laying money on a tie. Even so odds are greatly better – 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

When played properly, baccarat provides relatively decent odds, apart from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. 1 of which is quite similar to a roulette myth. The past is surely not an indicator of future results. Staying abreast of old conclusions on a chart is simply a total waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most established and feasibly most successful strategy is the 1-3-2-6 concept. This method is used to increase payouts and minimizing risk.

commence by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the third gamble. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second causes a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. A win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Therefore that you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
