Baccarat Rules

Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards that are valued less than ten are worth face value while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they purely symbolize the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for any hand is the total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as 5 has a value of 2 (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card could be played depending on the following standards:

- If the player or banker has a value of eight or 9, both bettors stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores will be the winner. Successful wagers on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even odds less a 5% commission. Commission is followed closely and moved out when you leave the table so make sure that you have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winner bets for tie generally pay eight to 1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a crazy wager as ties occur lower than one every 10 hands. be wary of putting money on a tie. Regardless odds are considerably better – nine to one versus 8 to one)

When played correctly, baccarat offers generally decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some established misunderstandings. One of which is very similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is never actually an indicator of future outcomes. Monitoring of past conclusions on a chart is a total waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and feasibly most successful tactic is the one-3-2-six scheme. This process is deployed to magnify payouts and reducing risk.

Begin by gambling one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away four so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the third bet, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th gamble.

If you don’t win on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. A win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Therefore you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
