Rules of Baccarat

Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under ten are said to be at their printed value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply symbolize the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards shall then be given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand shall be the total of the two cards, but the initial digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of seven and five produces a score of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be played depending on the foll. rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a score of 8 or nine, then both gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores will be the winner. Winning stakes on the banker pay 19 to 20 (even money less a five percent commission. Commission is kept track of and paid out when you leave the table so ensure that you have dollars left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie normally pay eight to one and occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a crazy wager as ties occur lower than one every ten hands. abstain from wagering on a tie. Nevertheless odds are significantlly better – 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)

When done properly, baccarat offers pretty good odds, away from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. One of which is quite similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future happenings. Staying abreast of old results on a chart is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and possibly most successful strategy is the one-3-two-six technique. This schema is deployed to maximize successes and limiting risk.

Begin by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the third bet, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
