Punto Banco Practices and Method

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules

Punto banco is gambled on with eight decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are counted at their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum total of the cards, although the beginning number is ignored. For instance, a hand of five and six has a value of 1 (five plus six = eleven; dump the 1st ‘1′).

A third card could be given based on the following rules:

- If the player or banker gets a score of eight or 9, the two players hold.

- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise hold.

- If the player holds, the banker hits on five or less. If the player hits, a guide is used to determine if the house stands or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the house pay out 19:20 (equal cash less a five percent commission. Commission are tracked and paid off once you leave the table so be sure to still have money remaining before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1:1. Winning bets for a tie usually pays eight to one but on occasion 9:1. (This is a awful wager as a tie occurs less than one in every ten hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially better for nine to one versus eight to one)

Bet on correctly baccarat banque gives relatively decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method

As with all games punto banco has some general false impressions. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events about to happen. Recording previous outcomes on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper desires.

The most accepted and probably the most accomplished plan is the one-three-two-six technique. This tactic is deployed to build up profits and limit losses.

Start by placing one dollar. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of three dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will have six on the table, remove four so you are left with two on the third bet. Should you win the 3rd wager, add two to the four on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th wager.

Should you do not win on the 1st bet, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the 1st round followed by a hit on the second causes a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd provides you with a profit of 2. And success on the 1st 3 with a loss on the fourth means you break even. Succeeding at all 4 wagers gives you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you are able to not win on the second wager 5 times for each successful streak of 4 rounds and still are even.
