Punto Banco Regulations and Strategy

Punto Banco Codes

Baccarat banque is bet on with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than ten are valued at their printed number and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The total for every hand is the total of the cards, but the beginning number is dropped. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a total of 1 (5 plus six = eleven; dump the first ‘one’).

A 3rd card can be given out based on the rules below:

- If the gambler or house has a value of eight or nine, the two players stay.

- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the gambler holds, the house hits on 5 or lower. If the player hits, a chart is used to determine if the house holds or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The higher of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the house payout nineteen to Twenty (even payout minus a 5% commission. The Rake is recorded and paid off when you quit the table so be sure to have cash around just before you leave). Winning wagers on the player pays out at 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie frequently pays out at 8 to 1 but occasionally nine to one. (This is a poor wager as ties occur lower than 1 in every 10 hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for nine to one versus 8:1)

Bet on correctly baccarat provides relatively good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Course of Action

As with all games punto banco has quite a few familiar false impressions. One of which is the same as a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of events about to happen. Keeping score of past results at a table is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most established and definitely the most favorable strategy is the one-three-two-six plan. This tactic is used to build up earnings and minimizing risk.

Start by placing one unit. If you win, add another to the 2 on the table for a total of three dollars on the second bet. Should you win you will retain 6 on the table, pull off four so you have two on the 3rd bet. Should you succeed on the 3rd round, deposit two on the four on the table for a total of six on the fourth bet.

Should you don’t win on the 1st bet, you take a loss of one. A profit on the 1st wager followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Success on the initial two with a hit on the third gives you with a gain of two. And success on the initial 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you break even. Winning all four rounds gives you with 12, a take of 10. This means you will be able to squander the second round 5 instances for each favorable run of 4 rounds and in the end, are even.
