Baccarat Rules

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards under 10 are said to be worth face value whereas ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just symbolize the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand will be the sum of the two cards, but the first digit is removed. For example, a hand of seven … five gives a value of two (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card could be dealt depending on the foll. guidelines:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of 8 or nine, then both gamblers stand.

- If the player has 5 or lower, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the player hits, a chart is used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay at 19 to twenty (even odds minus a five percent commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so make sure you have dollars still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winning bets for tie typically pays 8 to one but sometimes nine to 1. (This is a crazy gamble as ties occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. Stay away from wagering on a tie. Nevertheless odds are appreciably better – nine to 1 versus 8 to one)

When played accurately, baccarat provides fairly decent odds, away from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about every games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. One of which is very similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is not an actual indicator of future events. Monitoring of old conclusions on a chart is definitely a total waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful strategy is the 1-three-2-six concept. This process is employed to build up successes and limiting risk.

start by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove 4 so you have 2 on the third gamble. If you win the 3rd gamble, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth bet.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Getting a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Therefore that you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
