Baccarat Regulations and Plan

Punto Banco Codes

Baccarat is wagered on with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below ten are valued at their printed number while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the sum of the cards, although the beginning digit is ignored. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a score of 1 (5 plus six equals eleven; ditch the 1st ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be given out using the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker gets a value of eight or nine, the two players stand.

- If the gambler has less than 5, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the player stays, the banker hits on five or less. If the gambler hits, a chart is employed to figure out if the bank holds or takes a card.

The better of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the banker pay out nineteen to Twenty (even money minus a 5% commission. Commission are kept track of and cleared out once you quit the game so be sure to have cash around before you head out). Winning bets on the player pay 1:1. Winning bets for tie typically pay 8 to 1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs lower than one in every ten hands. Be cautious of betting on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9:1 vs. 8 to 1)

Gambled on properly baccarat chemin de fer gives relatively good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games punto banco has quite a few familiar myths. One of which is close to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of future outcomes. Keeping score of previous results on a chart is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.

The most common and possibly the most acknowledged plan is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This method is employed to maximize winnings and limit losses.

Start by betting one chip. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you win you will hold six on the table, pull off 4 so you are left with two on the third round. If you win the third wager, add two on the 4 on the game table for a total of six on the fourth bet.

Should you lose on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the initial bet followed by a hit on the 2nd creates a hit of two. Wins on the 1st two with a defeat on the third gives you with a gain of 2. And wins on the 1st three with a defeat on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning all four wagers leaves you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you can give up the 2nd bet five times for each favorable streak of four bets and still break even.
